| Prerequisites |
 Training applicants must have a consistent practice of at least six months. A year of practice is preferable so that trainees come into the program with a fairly strong understanding of their own bodies as they relate to yoga. Trainees who live in Manhattan must have taken 10 classes at B Yoga before signing up for training so that they can be sure the program is right for them. Trainees who do not live in Manhattan are encouraged to visit the studio, but if they cannot, they must complete a phone interview with the director in order to ensure that the program is a good fit. |

| Requirements: |
 All trainees are required to attend a minimum of two yoga classes per week at B Yoga for the duration of the training. If trainees do not live in Manhattan they may make alternate arrangements with the director. However, those interested in teaching at B Yoga must attend a minimum of one class at the studio per week, just as staff teachers are required to do.
Trainees will be required to keep a journal of their experiences with the yamas and niyamas for the duration of the training. Written homework assignments will be given in each area of the training. Trainees will be required to present an anatomy assignment to the group. They will be given a final written exam and will give a full-length Vinyasa class to the group and a designated number of outside students in order to pass the training. Trainees who fail to meet any requirements of the training, including the most basic requirement of attending all portions of the training itself, will be given the opportunity to make up portions of the training during subsequent sessions. When all requirements are met to the satisfaction of the director and other teacher trainers, trainees will be eligible for certification. |
